AREMA IS AWARDED THE OPERATION, CONSERVATION, MAINTENANCE AND SUPPLY SERVICE FOR THE SEWERAGE SYSTEM OF LA POBLA DE MAFUMET, EL MORELL AND VILALLONGA DEL CAMP.

On 21 October 2021, the Catalan Water Agency awarded the contract for the operation, conservation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment system of La Pobla de Mafumet, El Morell and Vilallonga del Camp (Tarragona) to the joint venture formed by AREMA and CICLAGUA for 906,001.72 euros plus VAT.
The purpose of the contract is to operate the 3 wastewater treatment plants, which have a daily capacity of 1,500 m3 and serve a population of 11,700 equivalent inhabitants. The duration of the contract is 4 years, extendable for a further 1 year.
The wastewater treatment plants at La Pobla de Mafumet, El Morell and Villlonga del Camp have pre-treatment, active sludge, nitrogen removal and sludge dehydration.
