In this R & D project, AREMA carried out the study and comparison of 4 different types of activated carbon to know exactly their properties, applications and results depending on the working conditions.
The design of the plant consists mainly in the construction of 4 filtration lines in parallel with a unitary capacity of 0.5 m3/h, a total plant capacity of 2.0 m3/h, and a contact time with the active carbon for 14 minutes.
