TREATMENT TYPES

The main types of potabilization treatments consist in treatments for water clarification, by physical-chemical ways (coagulation-flocculation, precipitation, oxidation, absorption, ion exchange) or mechanical ways (multilayer filtration, advanced membranes treatments like UF, RO and EDR) followed by a final disinfection by combining oxidizing agents and/or the use of ultraviolet radiation.
