The treatment of organic waste currently presents many challenges: if it ends up in landfills, it becomes a major emitter of greenhouse gases, with the detrimental consequences this has for the climate; if it ends up in composting plants, it becomes a resource of low added value.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the current geopolitical context and resource depletion, the conversion of this organic waste into an energy resource is a priority for our societies. Through a treatment process, under anaerobic conditions, of organic waste, AREMA makes it possible to obtain biogas and purify it into biomethane, a renewable gas injectable into the natural gas transportation and distribution network. In this way, at AREMA, we work to mitigate energy dependence and decarbonize key sectors of our economy.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

The circular economy, which consists of reintroducing recovered materials into the production chain instead of obtaining them from the natural environment, is one of the most important pillars on which the progress and sustainability binomial is based.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

This principle, applicable to waste known to all such as glass or paper, is also of paramount importance in the case of construction waste.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

AREMA has treatment and recycling plants for construction waste that make it possible for a large part of these wastes not to end up in controlled rubble landfills, but to be reused as high-quality raw materials for construction companies, thus promoting the circular economy.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n
